Oh no what is Chip going to do. The Tigers just let go of the guy known as D-Train.

LOL. Well I am sure Chip will take it well. Sad though that he had a 2-6 record here in his stay. I guess he deserved that 20 some million. Maybe some club will pick him up. He problay will not accept a minor league assignment. Oh well its a business and a business of winning. Let’s see what Maxwell will do today

What was the odds that Dontrelle would be released the same week we were talking about how he wasn’t cutting it in the rotation? The good thing is, if there is one, is that he is still young and may have a future as an outfielder like Ankiel did. Just because he lost his strike throwing ability doesn’t mean he can’t throw a strike to second or third from the fence. And many people don’t realize he is a pretty good hitter too. Good luck where ever you end up, Dontrelle. (Maybe he should have tried changing his uniform number like Gerald Laird did!!)

The Tigers got the Diamondbacks to bite and they traded him for Billy Buckner. A pitcher who is 0-3 this season with an ERA over 10. He was sent to Toledo. The bad things is that the Tigers will pay most of D-Trains salary.
