ha that is funny john. I always enjoyed listening to Ernie and Paul. Tiger radio was king when it was on WJR am . What ever happenend to those days? Now everything is FM and all about money and sports casters who know nothing. That is why I enjoy you guys. Your show is serious and fun, but sports…..

I had the privilege of meeting Ernie Harwell in 10th grade, in 1985, when the Romulus High School Baseball Field was being dedicated as the Charley Lau Field. He came with some other people to the ceremony, but Ernie took time to stay and talk to all of us who were on the JV and Varsity Baseball Teams. I had a flyer from the event autographed from Ernie and that is something I will always cherish. God Blessed us with Ernie and Ernie blessed us with his voice. I will miss him. We all will miss him. But we will never forget him!!

You always new what was happening in the game, no matter
what baseball stiory he was telling us…even though he retired
in 2002, i always wanted to be that person who caught the foul
ball to find out where i was from…
You rounded the bases Mr. Harwell, and you made it home, hope everyone
