Jake’s Again
Thusday night, Chip and I were honored to be MC’s at “Jakes Again” for the Wayne Goodfellows “No Child without a Christmas” fundraiser. The night included raffles and auctions and, because I enjoy auctions so much, I must admit to taking over the auctioneering.
We had a great time and many of Jake’s regulars came with big big hearts and made the night a success. Chip and I were able to meet some new friends, eat some good food and help raise money for a worthwhile cause. Kudos to Jake and all his patrons who helped make it possible that “No Child is without a Christmas”.
I agree, John, thursday night wasa a lot of fun…for a well worthy cause..
Its always fun to meet new potential listeners….Jake is always doing
some sort of benefit, he also does CHILDREN WITH CANCER, another
worthwhile cause….Jake should be easily recognizeable…he just had
a very expensive haircut….

hey I was there and checked it out. It was awesome. I actually bidded on a few items I couldnt stay long.
